About Ottica TV

Ottica TV is a project by the A2 Arts artists group (www.a2arts.co.uk) and has been set up to show contemporary art-based movie content. The Channel is split into into 2 streams - tabbed on the Player as 'Cinematheque' for movie shorts, animations etc. and 'Culturetheque' for documentary style content like visits to exhibitions, PVs and interviews with artists.
Entry is by invitation or selection from submissions. It is free to send in your movies.

If you would like to submit a Movie

Each contributor can submit up to 3 movies as long as the total run-time is less than 10 minutes. The TV Players on the Channel use Flash Video format (*.flv). If you already have your content in FLV format you can send it 'as is', however we can do the conversion for you if you supply your movie as an AVI file (see the 'Submitting your Movie' page).

Please note :

Your movie on the Channel

Once your movie is uploaded you will be e-mailed so you can proof check everything is OK. Movies will be put on the Channel as they arrive but we may need to re-sequence the line-ups after a period of time. The Channel is a new development and we hope contributors will 'bear with us' while we explore the potential of this medium. We welcome constructive suggestions to ottica@a2arts.co.uk

Disclaimer: Ottica sets out with the intention of being open minded about submissions. However, the usual conditions relating to offensive content apply. We reserve the right to classify or decline to broadcast content for whatever reason or to close the Channel, either on our own account or on advice from the hosting company. Likewise contributors are free to withdraw their content at any time. Contributors retain copyright and this should be displayed clearly on the movie.
